Must be able to apply SDLC concept and have a proven track record of delivering solid, robust applications. Must have a solid understanding of Object Oriented Programming. Strong communication skills are required as position will interact with business owners. 6+ years of prior Java development experience required. Job Summary: * Technical expertise in web development (JSF/AJAX/JavaScript), as well as ability to define and document technology system scope, objectives, and requirements. Preferred Qualifications: * Knowledge of J2EE (Java 2 Enterprise Edition) methodology (JSF/AJAX/JavaScript) * Knowledge of Java 1.5+ * Knowledge of HTML (Hyper Text Markup Language) and XML (eXtensible Markup Language) * Knowledge of WebSphere 6.1+ * Knowledge of RAD 7.0+ (Rational Application Developer) application development skills or other eclipse based tool * Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) concepts PLEASE NOTE: The hiring manager has requested EXPERT level candidates on this order.
