Position: Sr. Programmer Analyst Location: Glen Allen, VA Duration: 1 Year Rate: DOE *Qualifications* - In-depth experience in programming or systems analysis desired. - *.NET forms** experience is required.* - *SQL Server PL**/SQL experience is preferred. *** - *Experience with SQL Server DTS is a plus.*** - Experienced with *VB.NET or C#.NET, ASP.NET and PL-SQL is expected*. - Experience with *Microsoft Access, Foxpro, and Clipper a plus.* *Education Level: * *Preferred: * - Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, or Programming. - Demonstrated related experience may be substituted for preferred education. - Ability to get up to speed quickly with sophisticated systems and designs. - Ability to work in an integrated technical and business environment. - Must be able to juggle requests coming from many team members and be flexible to ever changing priorities. - Must be capable of setting priorities while working in a collaborative relationship with clients. - Strong interpersonal skills, solid verbal and written communication skills, effective project and time management / organization proficiency. Demonstrated success working with teams, motivated to learn. - Develop and test application and database entry and reporting solutions using a variety of standard development platforms. - Maintain existing Nuclear applications and identify solutions for user interface design requirement changes. - Adept at debugging complex application problems and work with Systems Analyst to understand technical requirements. - May need to work with architects, DBAs, software engineers, systems analysts, and system operational support staff to facilitate more complex detail design and data requirements. - Produce well documented code and be able to assist in the creation of quality software documentation, including requirements specifications, design documents and unit test plans. - Adhere to Dominion's programming standards.
