Honestly, I am not sure what that includes - data modeling, data
requirements, ETL, etc. I have two
applications that need significant enhancements that are data
intensive. One is loan data - so someone
with past experience with loan systems/data (consumer,
mortgage, commercial) would be great. The other
is incentives - so probably less experience needed on
this side since it is probably easier to understand. I
need this person to be able to work with the DDE
group to provide ETL (extraction, transformation and
load) requirements and document all the validation
points along the way.

form with each candidate submitted. Candidates will not be submitted

Strong Business Systems Analyst needed to work with Controller’s IT group.
The analyst will be working on two primary efforts: phase 2 of a custom
application implementation supporting accounting SOP-03-3 and the migration
of data feeds for SRC, a vendor package incentives application. The
SOP-03-3 application was developed and installed and there is a significant
list of enhancements queued up. It is a .NET application with a SQL Server
database and is used to estimate the impairment of an acquired loan
portfolio. Additionally, source systems providing data files will be
migrating due to another initiative and we need to be engaged to ensure our
requirements are met.
SRC is an incentives application used by our banking segment to calculate
incentive payouts based on inputs from various applications. The primary
data source is migrating and we need to modify the process through which
data is received by the application.
*Required skills:*
- General Business Systems Analyst skills (Data and Systems analysis)
including:
- Documentation – system, support, process/data flow, etc.
- Requirements gathering/documenti ng (user, system, data)
- User and System Test coordination
- Change/Release management
- Light third level user support
- Coordination with developers, DBAs, data transformation and other
technical resources to deliver enhancements and identify opportunities to
improve performance
- Disaster recovery plan development and testing
- Technical skills in .NET and SQL Server are preferred to assist the
developers and DBAs
- Strong knowledge of data requirements, data extraction, transformation
and load processes (ETL), and other data concepts
- Knowledge of accounting terms and systems, loan systems (mortgage,
commercial, consumer, etc.) and loan data and/or incentives systems and data
strongly preferred
