*Dear Partner * *We have an immediate opening for .NET Development *
* * *Location : Dallas, TX * *Rate : $ 48 * *Duration : 3 months* * * *Please note: we are looking for a resource with deep experience in COM C++ programming, MFC, and multi-threaded programming at the WIN32 API level** Job description :* General debugging assistance + workshop Provide guidance on how best to capture data at their customer sites so that they can be debugged offline since they are unable to repro in-house (hardware/testing limitations). Code reviews: COM/Interop, hooks, exception handling and capturing meaningful data, multi-threading Could potentially include going to their customer site to capture data in production, analyze and provide recommendations towards resolution Enable solutions for tracing/logging, could involve assistance with sample code. Many languages in play ATL/MFC/C++/VB6 (some .NET but primary problem areas appear to be unmanaged code) *MBCExec and interprocess communication: The CPS application contains two applications, CPSPMO and ML, that are integrated through a third process, MBCExec. The two applications use MBCExec to communicate with each other. MBCExec has been a source of instability in the past and the solution is brittle. CPSPMO is a .NET application, while ML is a C++/MFC application. There are serious complexities and many technology layers used to exchange messages, including ATL, COM and managed-unmanaged interop. The need is for a Microsoft engineer who is familiar with interprocess communication, .NET, C++/MFC, COM, interop and multi-threading. The engineer would review the integration code for stability and provide advice on how to make it robust*.
