Position : Java Developer
Location: Woodcliff Lake, NJ
Length; 12.31 plus
Rate: $80/hr
Technical Skills & Experience
· WebLogic 10 is a must
· 10+ years Java, J2EE, Application Servers (WebLogic 10, Glassfish,
Tomcat)
· 10+ years relational database, DB2 or Oracle
· 10+years User Interface definition and development, including HTML and
JavaScript
· Strong understand of object oriented design and development, including
UML
· Hibernate, JPA or other persistence framework
· Spring, understanding or and experience with dependency injection
· Eclipse IDE, JUnits, Eclipse plugins
· Build/Deploy experience, including CVS and Ant
· Message processing experience, including MQ Series and JMS
· Open Source - experience researching, evaluating and utilizing
· Large scale complex application development and testing
· Lifecycle methodology development
· Structured testing and defect management, preferable with Mercury
products
· Excellent written and oral communications
Preferred Skills:
· Automotive industry experience
· Web Services, preferably with Axis2 or CXF(XFire), knowledge of WSDL and
SOAP
· AJAX and dynamic web page generation techniques
Educational Requirements:
· BS in Computer Science or business equivalent experiencea
Sales group projects require a senior level Java J2EE developer for
definition, design, development, and testing of a Java-based system. This
position will involve significant user interface design and development.
Responsibilities
· Review existing Business Requirements with business and technical staff
· Document System Requirements and Interface Contracts, work with technical
staff to integrate with other tiers of the project
· Define development tasks and timelines, define requires interactions with
other project areas, work with the Project Manager to integrate tasks into
the project plan
· Design and developer the user interface using JSF and JPA
· Perform test-driven development using JUnit
· Utilize Relational databases (DB2, Oracle, MySQL)
· Define and execute technical unit test cases
· Analyze application performance levels, work with other project areas to
define strategies and target improvements
· Troubleshoot and debug software issues. Work with business and technical
team members to identify and define issues. Follow an existing QA process
· Flexibility to interact with globally dispersed project team members
