* Project End Date: 06/30/2011 * *Location: **Hapeville, Georgia** * *Job Description*: *This is a senior developer position supporting several mission critical document imaging based applications. Applications include Intelligent Data Capture system used to process major tax forms. This application accepts scanned images from IBML and OPEX 3690 scanners and uses OCR, KFI, 2D barcodes, etc to extract data from forms and interface to downstream business applications. This system was built using third party software from EMC Captiva. The products used are Dispatcher and Input Accel. There are also custom coded applications in VB.NET, ASP.NET websites and some C++ legacy programs. * *This position will require writing interfaces to both mainframe and client server applications, setting up custom scan jobs on scanners that will feed the data capture application images and meta data, writing new programs, application testing, and documentation of system functions. This application runs in a production environment with 100+ users during peak tax season.
