Experience in Accounting, Financial Closing and Reporting *Work to be performed:* * * · Work with Financial Closing improvement Program (FCIP) team, which consists of IT analysts and Financial Operations & Reporting users to: o Identify and eliminate unnecessary spreadsheets from the financial close process o Improve the efficiency of spreadsheets used in the financial close project, through migration (incorporating into existing applications) and/or automation (redeveloped) o Maintain or increase controls on spreadsheets while reducing the elapsed time to prepare · The following duties will need to be performed: o Review all the spreadsheets used by business users in the financial closing process (over 100 spreadsheets). o Create new and enhance existing Excel programs to improve overall financial closing process. o Improve efficiency and accuracy of individual spreadsheets by automating manual steps and /or combining spreadsheets o Integrate with IFC databases (RDBMS) o Standardize spreadsheets. Ensure compliance with Spreadsheet Management Principles o Build security on spreadsheets to restrict document access.
