We have an urgent need for a QA Tester, Please let me know if you have a suitable candidate for this. IT'S A LONG TERM PROJECT, NEED A COMPETITIVE RATE AND MAY NEED TO COME FOR A FACE TO FACE. Location: Washington, DC Job Description: . Gathers performance requirements from assigned IT Leads or teams, including non-functional requirements and service level agreements. . Define in-scope / out-of-scope work. . Develop and execute performance load and scenario test scripts using industry standard tools. . Interact with IT developers to identify specific problems or bottlenecks in execution. . Monitor applications and perform regression testing after tuning or fix has been applies. . This position requires someone with extensively worked in IT experience in working with Web based client/server applications in a testing or related capacity. . Worked in Mercury Quality Center, Test Director, LoadRunner, Parasoft SOAtest or with performance testing, or software testing tools . This position is also subject to being ?on call? for emergency situations requiring immediate resolution. Required Skills: . Highly motivated and demonstrate initiative . Able to work in a fast-paced technical environment with a customer service approach . Able to work independently and within a team environment . Proficient in project documentation and Microsoft Office tool suite including Microsoft Project . Very strong verbal, written and presentation skills . Excellent problem solving skills . Excellent analytical skills Preferred: knowledge of business application architecture, exposure to performance testing tools MUST Skills: . Ability to collect and understand requirements, build performance plans, create reporting matrix, . have full understanding of performance engineering, able to understand the requirements and then create test scripts --- Need 90% of this skill set . Build performance results and present the results based on test and good understanding . Reporting on Wily side . Solid Java . AIX Server -Need to have 50% . DB2 -- Need to have 50% .
