Software Engineer Location: Duluth, GA Position Summary Software Engineer must be able to design, develop, and maintain reporting solutions base on the diverse requirements of several business units within the Entertainment line of business. Applicant must be able to work effectively in a team environment composed of peers and cross-functional members. Applicant must be able to focus on tasks and be a self-starter. Key Areas of Responsibility Applicant will be responsible for: - coding software which meet requirements, promotes re-use of software components, and facilitate ease of support. - driving out reporting requirements from a diverse set of stakeholders - analyzing, clarifying, and implementing reports based on abstract requirement sets - effectively working in an independent environment, moving forward with minimal oversight - analyzing, designing and implement software mechanisms to improve code stability, performance and reusability. - utilizing software based system maintenance and tracking tools. - conducting unit tests, tracking problems, and implementing changes to ensure adherence to test plan and functional requirements Basic Requirements 4-year University Degree or equivalent in Computer Science/Engineering or other related field. 6 or more years professional software development experience desired At least 4 years of experience with Windows Form and ASP.NET application development using C# At least 2 years of experience with SSRS, SSIS, and TSQL High availability and above average communication skills to properly interact with reporting stakeholders Preferred Requirements Extensive programming skills in Microsoft SQL Server 2000/2005 stored procedures, triggers and complex SQL queries Experience with Visual Studio .NET 2008 Certification, training or specialized skills in operating systems, networks, development environments, software design, coding and testing, and programming languages is preferred.
