Certification in any of the linux flavours is essential. Hands on exposure and experience in installation , configuration and support of SUSE / RED HAT linux flavors on HP /IBM and Dell servers. Experience on HP SAN / Netapp Storage , clustering architecture and high availability solutions. Indepth knowledge on Virtualization concepts and techniques. Performance monitoring , system fine tuning , trouble shooting on production systems. Remotely assist and manage servers and services. Expertise on enterprise backup /restore infrastructure and implementation. Desgin backup policy and procedures as per the client requirement. Disaster Planing and recovery , documentation. ITIL v3 framework knowledge.
