Very Hot Need a Consultant Immediately Sure Shot Placement ! *Face to face is must for this position after telephonic round.* * * Job Title : QA with SQL XSLT Location : Raleigh, NC Duration : 3 month contract *Required Skills :* *Need someone with strong experience in SQL and some recent experience with XSLT.* *Must-haves* Understanding of QA metholodologies and the role of QA in the Software Life Cycle Experience working with Bug Tracking systems Experience writing test procedures for manual tests experience maintaining and managing test cases, test plans and test runs using a Test Case Management System Relational Database experience (Oracle) Experience working in Oracle Forms working knowledge of SQL (ability to understand SQL queries) Basic knowledge and understanding of Linux operating system and ability to use Linux commands efficiently Ability to work well within an team environment Should be able to effectively communicate issues/blockers with members of the ESB team and with memebers of other teams Experience working/testing in an Agile Software development environment Basic XML/XSLT knowledge Experience using a database access tool such as sqldeveloper *Plusses *ESB (Enterprise Service Bus) testing experience (highly prefered) Ability to read and write java code Experience writing java based automated tests using Selenium Use of Fitness for test automation Linux System Administration experience Ability to write SQL queries *Day-to-Day* Candidate will be a part of a middleware testing team responsible for testing of ESB (Enterprise Service Bus) software in an Agile test environment. Testing and analysis will be done using the Linuix operating system. Work closely with developers to debug and analyze problems as needed. Will be responsible for writing of manual test cases and maintenance of manual test cases Use Defect tracking system to track and update defect reports Analysis of log files to help debug problems Use of Rally for Agile Software Life Cycle management and tracking of status Participation in daily SCRUM meetings to report and update status Running manual regression tests Maintenance of manual regression tests Tracking and maintenance of test cases using a Test Case Management System Participation in the Test Planning process Thanks & Regards.
