*Job Title : Java Developer* *Location : Melville, New York* *Duration : 6+ Months contract* Minimum Requirements: Java Skills include: • Strong Java Basics, JSP, JMS, MDB, Experience in any Open Source MVC framework, • EJB, experience in development/deployment on Web Logic Server, basic UNIX skills. • Use of open source XML frameworks (Apache POI, Apache FOP, XML Publisher, BI Publisher) • Experience of working with REST based Services. • Use of Ant for build/deployment • Knowledge of front end development - JQuery, AJAX and JavaScript • Use of version control – knowledge of MKS preferred. Oracle Skills include: • Basic PL/SQL and SQL, Java-Oracle interaction experience. • Experience with ETL, SQL Loader, batch processing (not mandatory but preferred) Other: Communication Skills – • Strong written and oral communication skills as well as inter-personal skills. • Need to be able to effectively identify and escalate Project and Process related issues.
