*Job Description :*
The candidate will play a critical role in the monitoring and remediation of
our Application Batch processing and the Infrastructure components that the
batch streams are dependent on.
The candidate will monitor the batch streams that are critical, review and
triage the exceptions and take the appropriate actions to resolve. They will
also coordinate with others within the IT Operations Center and
Infrastructure Support to determine high level outages that impact the batch
streams and communicate to impacted areas as required.
Technical skills should include a very strong background in Microsoft
Windows Server administration, Unix commands, an understanding of network
topology, and a solid understanding of general computing architecture.
Individual must have excellent written and oral communication skills,
ability to work independently, ability to work as a member of a team, be
self motivated, be able to manage and track multiple tasks, and be a quick
thinker.
2+ years of experience in voice, data and LAN/WAN communications systems.
Associates Degree Preferred and/or 2+ years of experience.
****Night Shift Position - 8pm to 4am Monday through Friday. Initial
training will require a 4-6 week day shift prior to moving to permanent
night shift.****
