Please)* Job Title : *BO Developer* Location : Columbus, OH Duration : 9 – 12 months contract ***Communications and Personality are as or more important than their technical ability*** *Role:* • Collaborate with customers/developers to develop design reports, dashboards, data marts, dimensional models, and OLAP cubes for reporting • Design, develop and test standard and ad hoc reports, dashboards and analytics • Lead and support core Universe and Reporting development team • Mentor and support offshore report development team with Crystal report migrations • Participate in the complete development lifecycle, including analysis, design, build, and test • Participate in the complete testing cycle, including regression testing, performance testing, and bug fixes • Assist with developing, implementing, and continuously updating “best practices” and standards as they relate to reporting and analytics in the business intelligence environment *REQUIREMENTS: * Related Work Experience: 5+ years • Experience in data warehousing and business intelligence • High proficiency in understanding relational and dimensional data models • Proficiency in SQL including the use of SQL editors, stored procedures, database triggers and optimizing SQL statements • Experience with Oracle 9i or higher • Broad understanding of reporting technologies, including reporting suite management, report visualization, design and development, dashboard visualization , design and development, and analytical modeling, design and development • Experience in tuning/caching reports, and service configuration • Minimum two years knowledge of and experience with Business Objects toolsets, including Crystal Reports, and Crystal Xcelsius, as a designer, developer, and administrator • Experience with *Business Objects Enterprise XI R2* • Strong strategic skills, the ability to lead in the adoption of reporting, dashboard, and analytics technologies and toolsets, standards and best practices • Proven tactical skills, the ability to move tactical decisions towards strategic initiatives • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and within a team • ability to mentor and train team member to assume Reporting Lead position when ready • Demonstrated ability with Microsoft desktop tools, including Word, Visio, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Project, and Outlook *Thanks for your time and Consideration,* * * *Best Regards,* *Davis Johnson | IT Recruiter* *Voice: 201-257-5081 Ext: 293 | Fax: 201 727 9296* *Email: [email protected] | [email protected]* -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "ORACLE DWH DBA" group.
