No candidate will be accepted above the Maximum Rate. --------------------------------------------------------- Requirements: Technologist/Senior Technologist Seasoned individual with a broad yet strong technical proficiency and solid software development lifecycle experience. Self sufficient problem solver, collaborative team player. Responsibilities * Understand and analyze business problem, conceptualize potential solutions * Assist architect(s) in architecting/designing major components and subsystems * Design and develop application features * Design and develop components, modules and subsystems * Design and develop database components * Design and develop test cases * Assist architect and project manager in defining and estimating project tasks * Collaborate with and mentor other developers Skills * Experience - Have readily available or quickly gain project domain knowledge in assigned area; proficient in full software development lifecycle * Communication - Good oral and written communication and interpersonal skills; good conceptualization and abstraction skills; ability to articulate ideas clearly and concisely * Proactive and Goal Oriented - Understands project vision and goals and possesses the drive and resourcefulness to solve problems and produce required daily deliverables and project milestone deliverables. * Planning and Organization - Effective at independently managing time and prioritizing tasks without the need for supervision * Technology - Broad technical competency with expertise in modern architectures and paradigms; web architectures, SOA principles and patterns * Methodology - Solid experience in full software development lifecycle with emphasis on agile methodologies. Must be a competent modeler, proficient with UML. Must be proficient with design patterns and have the ability to apply them.
