Consultant will manage the Remedy ITSM Upgrade Implementation Project from
pre-planning through implementation, using our defined Project Management
Methodology. This project is the follow-on effort to the Remedy ITSM Upgrade
Planning & Design project. The Planning & Design project has produced the
following deliverables to be used by the Implementation Project. Each of
these deliverables may require updates as part of the Implementation
project.
• Business Requirements
• High-level Process Design
• High-level Technical Design documents, Use Cases, and Test Scripts
• Communication Plan
• Education & Training Plan
*Requirements*:
1. Must have 3-5yrs managing ITIL/ITSM projects. { BMC Remedy ITSM
version 7.6 experience preferred}
2. Must have exp scoping/defining, planning and setting on the Process
Mgmt Stages of a ITIT/ITSM project*:* Core skills necessary include:
*a. **Manages and coordinates all activities necessary to identify
root cause, initiate resolution of problems, identify preventative actions
and Requests for Change *
*b. **Provides metrics and management reports *
*c. **Manages and put in place continuous improvement processes for
Problem Management so problems and potential problems can be analyzed more
effectively and corrective actions communicated and agreed faster*
3. Strong PMP related skills.
4. *Certified PMP required. *
5. *Strong understanding of ITIL/ITSM Processes (ITIL Foundation
certification preferred) *
6. Attention to detail is imperative. Position requires routinely
looking beyond what is requested to create greater value and process
efficiency
7. Must be able to interface effectively with all levels of the
organization.
