Position :5 ORACLE Developer/DBA positions Location : Schenectedy, NY Duration : 18 Months ************5 open positions***************** 1. Proficiency in speaking and comprehending the English language (Must be able to speak English that can be understood by native speakers of English and must be able to comprehend English when spoken by native speakers of English.). In-person interview in Schenectady, New York will be used to determine if the candidate satisfactorily meets qualification. 2. Minimum of four years hands-on Oracle programming experience developing forms using Oracle 6i Web Forms or higher for implementation in an ‘N’-tier environment. 3. Minimum of four years hands-on Oracle programming experience developing reports using Oracle 6i Web Reports or higher for implementation in an ‘N’-tier environment. 4. Minimum of four years hands-on programming experience creating and/or modifying relational database structures for Oracle RDBMS version 8.0 or higher. 5. Minimum of four years hands-on programming experience using PL/SQL. 6. Minimum of four years hands-on programming experience developing Oracle applications on a Citrix platform (server). 7. Minimum of four years hands-on programming experience designing, coding and testing Oracle applications using Digital/HP Alpha servers. NOTE: NO travel is anticipated. Location of assignment is Schenectady, NY(just outside of Albany, NY). Workweek is forty (40) hours. Workday is eight (8) hours per day, Monday through Friday, except for State holidays, starting on or after 7:30 AM and ending on or before 5:30 PM. However, evening hours may be required and temporary adjustments must be accommodated. All work is on site. DESIRABLE Experience Listed in order of importance: All experience a candidate claims to have must be clearly reflected in the candidate’s resume with precise indication of number of months or years. 1. Effective communication skills, both oral and written, including experience with developing both technical and user documentation and experience with presentations/training. 2. Additional hands-on Oracle programming experience developing forms using Oracle 6i Web Forms or higher for implementation in an ‘N’-tier environment. 3. Additional hands-on Oracle programming experience developing reports using Oracle 6i Web Reports or higher for implementation in an ‘N’-tier environment. 4. Additional hands-on programming experience creating and/or modifying relational database structures for Oracle RDBMS version 8.0 or higher. 5. Additional hands-on programming experience using PL/SQL. 6. Additional hands-on programming experience developing Oracle applications on a Citrix platform (server). 7.
