The Administrator will be responsible for demonstrating a strong knowledge of data Architecture concepts, strategies and Administration functions of the DB2 Database. *2. **Bachelor’s degree with 10 years related work experience or 10 years experience as a DBA *** *3. **10 years medium to large scale data management environment *** *4. **5 years experience with DB2 for LUW *** 5. Database monitoring, proactive maintenance and advance problem resolution 6. Management of complex shared database environments 7. Strong technical knowledge with an emphasis on data 8. Demonstrated understanding of data architecture concepts and strategies, including types of data and the relationships between them; optimal data placement strategies; data usage guidelines; data technical components and the relationships between them 9. Strong understanding of networking and security requirements and issues as they relate to data movement (e.g. * database/data warehouse access, data replication, data movement, data distribution) 10. Strong understanding of databases and data access methodologies 11. Demonstrated ability to multi-task work assignments 12. Strong analytical and problem solving skills 13. Strong teamwork skills within I.S. and client community 14. Strong verbal and written communication skills 15.
