*Senior Technical Web Analyst* *Location : NYC* *Duration : Long Term* * * § This person needs to be an* expert* in *WebTrends admin and implementation* * * *Primary Responsibilities and Related Duties:* § Evaluate business goals and objectives from multiple business teams and develop tracking/tagging strategies to allow individuals and teams to measure success. § Work with development to implement tracking/tagging code and mechanisms. Perform quality assurance test on tracking implementations. Build, update and deliver weekly and monthly reports, scorecards/dashboards and key performance reports (using Excel and BI tools). § Manage the building, reporting and analysis of A/B and multivariate tests. Build automated Dashboards and Scorecards for various business stakeholders. Support ad-hoc analytics requests from different business stakeholders - including editorial, site design, product development, business development, marketing and advertising sales. § Ability to process large quantity of web traffic dataand extract relevant, actionable insights. § Provide in-depth analysis of site performance and customer experience using various data sources. § Manage and fulfill user administration and report development for 150+ users globally. § Well versed in tracking implementation for video and mobile websites/apps. Support Reuters global consumer media businesses, which includes teams in US, UK, Japan, China, India, Africa, Germany and Italy. *Qualifications:* *Education:* BS/BA degree in Computer Science, MIS or related fields or equivalent *Required Skills and Experience:* § At least *three years experience as administrator of SAAS analytics solution* (preferably WebTrends) § *Expert in MS Excel*, with experience using and creating pivot tables, advanced formulas, external data source and writing advanced VBA macros § *Excellent* oral and written communication skills § Detail-oriented, well organized and able to assume responsibility for specific project deliverables with limited supervision § Deliver results in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment that requires ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously § Strong interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently as well as in a team environment § Understanding of data relationships, sources of data, reconciliation issues, and uses of the data in order to provide the correct information to address business needs § Strong understanding and experience with *HTML, JavaScript, CSS and XML* § Understanding of A/B and multivariate testing principles *Additional Skills and Experience desired:* § Experience in online publishing § Familiar with SQL and database structures § Understanding of Search Engine Optimization and Search Engine Marketing Thomson Reuters employees take pride in providing our customers around the world with information that is timely, accurate, unbiased and trusted.
