*Position Title: Oracle ADF Developer Location: LA
Duration: Short term 2-3 Weeks (Can be done remotely or part time) Start Date: ASAP* *Oracle ADF person that has performance tuning experience The client has HP load runner* *Must have skills:* 1. Have experience in performing various lead roles for application and infrastructure architecture. 2. Work with application development leads and DBAs on the design and engineering of infrastructure. 3. Responsibilities also include risks assessments, partnering on capacity planning and the diagnosis and correction of application/network problems resulting from performance testing. 4. Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure compatibility issues based on system architecture and performance volume stress testing metrics/results. *Experience:* *Architect experience in the following:* - Oracle Application Server 10g R3 (version 10.1.3.4.0) - Oracle Application Development Framework (ADF) - J2EE, JDBC to non-Oracle databases (e.g. IBM Universe Database) - Linux - Oracle Single Sign-On, Oracle Internet Directory (OID) - OC4J tuning: producing and interpreting heap dump and stack - trace information, interpreting verbose Garbage Collection logs, using profilers like JConsole or VisualVM - Using, configuring, and interpreting O/S (particularly RH - LINUX) monitoring tools like AD4J. - Bottleneck detection at multiple layers of a solution stack:network, hardware, O/S, web tier, app/service tier, data tier - Engineering expertise in Database, system level and application level performance monitoring and tuning *Deliverable's:* 1. Complete health check of L.A.Care Oracle Appliaction Server configuration for optimal performance. 2. Identified and resolved major bottle neck issues with Oracle Application Server. 3. Recommendations on further enhancements in performance including load balancing options. 4. Review the application design and recommend the performance enhancements options. 5. Document the above recommendations.
