·         Maintains IT environment consistently with adherence to technology

infrastructure projects to upgrade or refresh supported systems 

·         Collaborates to develop respective technical domain roadmap 

·         Develops documentation including processes and procedures for
consistent maintenance and support 

·         Develops utilities to automate repetitive tasks to reduce time of
support

·         Interfaces with various levels or groups within the organization
to gain consensus and buy-in from all parties 

·         Interacts with customers and/or functional peer group managers

installing/configuring/operating 

Ø  WebSphere WAS

Ø  WebSphere Deployment Manager

Ø  WebSphere IBM HTTP Server

Ø  WebSphere Portal Server

Ø  WebSphere Process Server

·          WebSphere server/cluster administration and/or WebSphere
Integration

·         Familiarity with one of J2EE technologies and/or .NET technologies
including JSP, Servlet, EJB, JMS, JDBC, JNDI, ASP, ASPX, and HTML

·         Familiarity with installing and configuring Lotus Quickr bundle

·         Administration, troubleshooting and performance tuning of
WebSphere servers

·         Familiarity with scripting languages – Javascript, Perl / CGI

·         Understanding of Service Component Architecture, Business Object,
Common Event Infrastructure

 

 

 

Additional Skills

*       IBM Certified System Administrator for WebSphere is preferred
