Working ON SITE * *Project Description:* Responsible for web based learning technology projects that have direct positive business impact on the Operations organization. Fast-paced project-oriented environment. We are making significant changes to processes around our SDLC and rolling out a new suite of software tools. We need to create a large number of e-Learning courses quickly and efficiently using Lectora and Captivate and establish them in our Learning Management System . This role focuses on directing SMEs in creating storyboards; creating interactive simulations using Captive; and then converting approved storyboard to courses in Lectora. Performs analysis, designs, develops, codes, troubleshoots, debugs, implements, configuration management, and maintains software code and web sites. Consults with Operations personnel by providing technical direction on development projects. Develops products to support business needs and guides the implementation of these ideas and products within an application. Collaborates with web content owners, graphic designers, and other members of a project team on requirements, design, development and implementations of projects. Responsible for interface implementation and system communication. Develops sub-project plans, functional specifications, and schedules. Stays abreast of new web technologies and techniques with knowledge of Internet / Web tools, protocols and programming languages. *Skills:* • Requires a BS/MS in Computer Science, Instructional Technology or a related field. • 2-4 years of web design/development, and 3 plus years supporting a training/learning organization; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. • Ability to travel maybe required. • Thorough understanding of computer applications and programming required. • Strong written, oral and interpersonal communication skills required. • Good analytical and problem-solving skills required.
