Hi *Position : 2 UNIX ADMINS*
*Location: Phoenix, AZ* *Length: 1 position 12.31.2010 and 1 position 3.31.2011* *Install software, apply patches, manage file systems, monitor performance and troubleshoot alerts. Incident management - System failure analysis and recovery; insuring system consistency and integrity. Problem management - Ability to analyze problems, determine root cause, propose solutions, and drive issues to resolution. Proficient knowledge and practice of Unix Shell scripting or Perl. Ability to deal with changing priorities and handle multiple projects. Participation in oncall rotation in a 24x7 data center environment. In-depth knowledge of Solaris 8,9,10, RedHat Linux(AS 3,4 & 5). Minimum of 5yrs professional experience in a large to mid-sized data center environment. Experience with storage area networking as it applies to systems administration. Experience supporting applications such as Informix, Tibco, Veritas, EMC Networker a plus. Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience. Strong troubleshooting skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
