- This individual will act as a member of the Court IT staff. Duties include development of the above mentioned application. - The developer would make modifications and/or develop the application based on previously defined specifications at the direction of various team members and business specialists. - It is expected that the programmer would follow previously defined / implemented standards in development methodology, usable technologies, and coding standards. - All development will be on site utilizing AOC's technology standards. *Experience / Skills* - Application development for internet based application utilizing the technologies described below. - Development experience utilizing the IBM WebSphere application development tool - RAD or Eclipse. - Development experience with JAVA (2 year minimum job experience), SQL,JSP & HTML. - Development experience utilizing Model View Controller methodology. - SOAP Web Service development experience. - Understanding of java development best practices and code optimization. - Ability to work as team member. *Duties* - Develop / modify java applications at direction of court staff that meet design specifications and technical development standards. - Work with court staff (technical team and business specialists) to insure quality development and product. - Coordinate programming changes with court staff. - Make recommendations at both the business process level and programming level to insure optimum product. - Some after hours work may be necessary but not typical.
