Role: Websphere / SOA Administrator Location: Cincinnati, OH Duration: 6 months client in downtown Cincinnati, Ohio for a Websphere/ SOA Administrator to provide Provide technical leadership to team providing real-time operations technical support for SOA related applications and technologies (WebSphere Application server, Apache HTTP server, UNIX, web services, Web Content Management, etc.) while escalating to team lead and management as appropriate. Provide technical leadership, coaching, and mentoring to junior team members Accountable for technical environment in terms of issue resolution, quality standards, continuous improvements. Required to execute projects and complex changes, mentor junior team members on less complex environment changes, daily monitoring and maintenance tasks. Provides input to and implements unit/group continuous improvement and standardization initiatives within area of responsibility. Provides input into the coordination of work across internal technical teams, client teams, hosting provider, and vendors. Collaborating directly with client team members on technical architecture decisions, day-to-day operational support, issue resolution & escalation Primary point of contact for day-to-day client operations, point of technical escalation for team members. Maintain detailed understanding of all activities supported in the client environment Maintain and execute DR plan for all applications in area of responsibility Provide input and/or complete appropriate reports (e.g. weekly status reports, monthly performance, monthly SLA report for application & infrastructure components) Work in a 24x7 on-call support environment including 1st responder for incidents during US business hours, and point of technical escalation during non-US business hours.
