* Collaborate with internal and external customers, software
engineers, etc. to interview, research, and derive business and
functional requirements for products.
* Translate business requirements into detailed functional and
non-functional specifications
* Contribute, as required, to the "look" and "feel" of the product
including screen design, on-line text, and/or graphical user interface
(GUI) consistent with company standards.
* Participate in the design and testing phases, including design
and testing of prototypes and orchestration and sign-off on acceptance
test results to ensure design integrity.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
* Experience working as a Business or Systems Analyst
* Experience working in a Product Management or related
field a plus
* Minimum 5 years software development/design experience a
plus
* Minimum 3 years health care industry software design
application experience a plus
* Ability to think analytically, define problems and frame
solutions
* Ability to understand and interact with
technically-oriented team members
* Ability to interact with internal and external customers
to interpret product requirements
* Excellent written and oral communications skills
* Excellent soft skills, including experience in
facilitation, diplomacy, and conflict resolution
* Proficiency with MS Office suite of products, including
Visio, Word, Excel
* Some experience and/or exposure to one or more of the
following relational databases; Oracle, SQL server, C++, XML or web
services a plus
* Experience with Agile/ iterative development
methodologies or consumer facing application development is highly
desirable
