*SQL DBA:*
Rate : $ Negotiable/hr

Duration: 6+ Months
Looking for a candidate with strong SQL skills who will be able to
administer the database, review the integrity of the database making sure it
is optimized.
* 70 % of this role is DBA focused (backup-restores, replication,
clustering, log shipping, mirroring, etc).
* 20-30% of this position will be development in SQL or T-SQL (for
monitoring and troubleshooting aspects)
* Knowledge of SQL 2008 is a plus.
Here are the job requirements that we are looking for:
* Backup and recovery operations
Replication administration
* Index Tuning
* Query Tuning
* T-SQL and Stored Procedure creation
* Schema management
* DB related file system management
* Clustering administration
* Data archiving
* Database mirroring
* .NET CLR in SQL and Service Broker
* Shared 24X7 support
* Interfacing with different business groups including IT and Developers
* Assists in the development of local support of production databases.
* Manages resources, coordinates and participates in activities associated
with Production SQL Servers.
* Provides assistance in resolving problems with production SQL Server
databases and tracking SQL Server problems
* Experience in supporting large database systems with high transactional
volume is preferable"
*System Engineer (SE):*
Rate : $ Negotiable/hr
Location : Redmond
Duration: 6+ Months
Technical Skills:
- Windows 2003/2008 Systems Administration
- IIS 6.0/IIS 7.0 Administration
- Excellent networking skills with excellent knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, Load
balancing concepts
- Windows 2008 Hyper-V, virtual servers creation and management knowledge
- Power-shell scripting and ability to automate repetitive tasks
- Person should have worked in large enterprise environments supporting
mission critical applications for at least 2+ years. MS experience would be
an added advantage
- Good knowledge of MS SQL 2005/2008 servers
- Good knowledge of.NET framework concepts, knowledge of
ASP.NET<http://asp.net/>would be helpful
