The Sr. Engineer will be designing and implementing infrastructure for building, monitoring, deploying, debugging and performance tuning new and existing services. The required skills for this Sr. Engineer are: - In-depth and hands on *knowledge of Java/J2EE* - Experience *working with relevant tools (IDEs, maven, ant, junit, spring, etc.)* - Good understanding of Perl, Python and other scripting languages - Solid understanding of design, coding and testing patterns - Expertise with *Tomcat, Jsp* - Solid understanding of all components of a web application, including HTML, CSS, Javascript and database development - Strong understanding of the server side software, scalability, performance and reliability aspects - Solid understanding of a product development lifecycle - Ability to effectively interact with product managers and other organizational units such as QA and operations - Ability to work in a fast paced, collaborative and iterative programming environment - At least 5 years of industry experience, with at least 3 years in Java web application development.
