Project Manager [#TR1JP00006693] Location: Eagan, MN
Duration: 2 years plus. Comment: Will be working on project for Thomson Reuters call and contact centers. We are looking for seasoned consultant contractors. Must be able to hit the ground running on the new projects and have a history of success in contracting many projects in the past. Must have managed projects relating to call/contact centers Expect to go through end of 2011 with a possibility to be extended depending on the project Job Description: Major Areas of Accountability: Project Management (60%) * Leads the implementation of various types of projects for GCCI primarily focused on the third-party applications (Command Center operations) work stream. Develop and track project plans, schedules, cost estimates, resource plans, communication plans, test plans, risk mitigation plans and issue resolution plans. * Execute on project deliverables, scope & expectations and coordinates project progress with GCCI program team, business unit sponsors and upper management. * Lead scoping and requirements gathering sessions, documents business requirements and participates in technical feasibility discussions. * Coordinate usability and UAT (User Acceptance Testing). * Make project decisions and recommendations to management about schedules, prioritization, and resource allocation with input from others as needed. * Interface with technology partners to develop technical specifications. * Collaborate with peers, architects, integrators and others to determine implementation strategy and plans. * Collaborate directly with key stakeholders within the business to provide ongoing business enablement and operational support to optimize reporting across Thomson Reuters' through the use of those applications. Communication (40%) * Communicate and report status to work stream lead and all other stakeholders. * Provide leadership, coaching and feedback to members of the cross-functional project teams. * Execute usability and UAT (User Acceptance Testing). * Develop training materials and conduct training programs. * Collaborate with Thomson Reuters' business units, the GCCI team, Technology, Cisco, Moxie and other vendors * Ability to work and collaborate with international, virtual teams. Financial Responsibility: The Project Manager is responsible for staying within the project budget. In working with the GCCI PMO and Finance area, the PM will participate in initial estimates, track ongoing allocation of financial resources and provide regular reporting of the state of the project financials. Travel: Up to 10% Education: * Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Computer Science or related field * PMP certification preferred Experience: * 5 years of work experience in project management required * 2 years of work experience as a Business Analyst desired * 2 years experience working with contact center environment (i.e. operational and processes knowledge) desired. * Experience working with the contact center applications utilized for call recording, quality monitoring forecasting, scheduling, reporting, customer interaction management (CIM), knowledgebase, and customer relationship management.
