If you have any consultants comfortable with the below requirement please send their resumes to *[email protected]* * * *Senior Database Architect* *Duration : 6 months* *Location : Englewood Cliffs, NJ* *Rate : $60 USD* * * * * * * *Qualifications/Requirements:* - Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science in related discipline or equivalent. - 8+ years experience in installing, configuring, tuning and managing the various recent versions of Oracle (8.0, 8i, 9i, 10g (INCLUDING RAC on Linux). - Experience in installing, configuring, tuning and managing the various recent versions of MS SQL Server, Mysql, or UDB DB2 a major plus. - Database design skills are required, as well as database support in performance tuning, database troubleshooting, RDBMS patching, and locks detection. - Working knowledge of Windows, HP, Solaris and Linux environments and scripting. - Experience performing needs assessment, database planning, design, application testing and integration, production cutover, change management and 24x7 support as needed. - Strong analytical, problem solving and planning skills. - Knowledge of operating interrelationships between database, business applications and operating systems. - Experience data modeling using a tool such as Erwin - Excellent oral and written communication skills. *Desired:* · Development language experience development experience (e.g. Java, C, C++, etc.) · Third party vendor management experience.
