Knowledge of SQL Server 2008 would be a strong plus. Experience with scripting concepts and techniques would be a strong plus such as VBScript or PowerShell. Supporting and managing servers in production, pre-production and integration environments. Providing application support for business critical applications, troubleshooting and resolving application issues. Working with engineering team to troubleshoot complex application issues, participate in planning & deploying new application releases. Installing Security patches to servers & performing password reset for service accounts. Renewing SSL certificate, website configuration and troubleshooting. Work on project tasks such as building new servers, server migration, upgrading to latest windows OS and upgrading IPAK level on servers, SQL upgrade, IIS installation & configuration. Troubleshooting basic network related issues and escalating to networking team and working towards resolution. Providing analysis and troubleshooting for Windows, IIS & network related issues. Working independently within established processes and procedures. Communicating problem resolution and additional information to customer groups, project team, and IT support groups. Contribute towards knowledgebase improvement. Use incident management tools such as UTS, MSE for Server Request (SR) tracking of open, in-process, and closed issues.
