If you have any consultants comfortable with the below requirement please send their resumes to [email protected] * * Position: MOSS Architect Location: NYC, NY (1) Length: 6 months w/option for additional time Start Date: ASAP Rate: $OPEN all inclusive *Overview:* The responsibilities of this position include defining and documenting the business requirements and translate into functional specifications. This position will include Translation and definition of business requirements into technology requirements so that the client can implement a MS SharePoint 2007/2010 (MOSS 2007/2010). This person will be responsible for Architecting & building connectors to and from both products (internet based or intranet based solutions) *Requirements:* 1. Must have 3-7+ years of intensive experience in the analysis, design, implementation, and support of large complex applications using MOSS 2007. a. Must be able to define and document the business requirements and translate into functional specifications as well as document integration points of existing systems and business processes. i. Creation of prototypes, proof of concepts, presentations, etc. b. Provide detailed SharePoint architecture analysis and design, and direction on the infrastructure setup activities. i. Designing & implementing best practice MOSS infrastructure including security design and topology, application installation and configuration, code version management, back-up and restore processes ii. Experience with Collaboration, Portals, Enterprise Search, Enterprise Content Management, Business Process and Forms, and/or Business Intelligence is required. c. Provide leadership in gaining insight on functional and non-functional requirements related to required infrastructure. d. Operational deployment and support for the SharePoint Portal in the areas of system administration, security support, system builds and deployment e. Provide specialized programming to augment SharePoint 2007 capabilities and to provide additional portal-based tools. (Web Parts, Workflows, Customized Master Pages, Branding) i. Expert-level expertise with Microsoft Office SharePoint Server (MOSS) 2007 and 2010 and Windows SharePoint Services (WSS) technologies including creating, packaging and deploying custom web parts, site definitions and features (SharePoint solutions). ii. Experience leading SharePoint solution efforts involving Portals, Workflows, Enterprise Content Management, Enterprise Search, Business Process design, InfoPath Forms, and Business Intelligence(SSIS and SSAS) f. Must utilize and consult with the client on a "best practices" approach to Project Management and Change Management. 2. Strong knowledge of technologies such as XML/XSL/XSD, web services, and InfoPath 3. Strong organization, analytical, and problem solving skills 4. Strong documentation skills including experience writing proposals and statements of work 5. Must be able to interface effectively with all levels of the organization. 6. Must have excellent interpersonal skills and be strong and effective communicator 7.
