Job Title : Siebel - System Administrator Relevant Experience (Yrs) : 5+ years of IT; 3+ as Siebel - System Administrator Technical/Functional Skills : Experience with Siebel Financial Services vertical version 7.8 Experienced with Siebel 7.8 Server Administration. Experience in Siebel Sever/Patch Installations in Windows/Solaris/AIX OS Excellent verbal and written communications skills are a must. Siebel Certification would be preferred Experience Required Experienced with Siebel 7.8 Server Administration. Experience in Siebel Sever/Patch Installations in Windows/Solaris/AIX OS Experience in Certificate, License Key Management Experience in DB2/MQSeries/SSO Implementation Experience in Shell Scripting Server Monitoring and Alerting(NetCool/NetIQ) Siebel Application Management Experience in Working with Oracle Support Roles & Responsibilities : SRF builds and server distributions Siebel app server (AIX) shutdown/startups Web server (Solaris) shutdown/startup Support multiple environments (3 dev, 2 qa, training, and production) Log file analysis (Siebel, app server, web server) System monitoring Server cleanups (log files, etc.) Support desktop issues with Siebel Reaction/diagnosis/correction of issues, including SEV1 outages Generic Managerial Skills : Achieves the project goals and objectives without compromising quality. Work independently and as part of a team to guide project efforts while developing stakeholder relationships Education : Bachelor of Engineering; Masters degree preferred.
