Please make sure you have the required experience in 1st and 2nd projects.*** Name Visa Status Current Location Availability Rate/hr Email Contact details Relevant Experience Total Experience Job Title Oracle Applications DBA** Experience Level 8+ years Location Richardson, TX Start Date Immediate Duration Long Term Pay Rate DOE** No. Of Positions 2 Job Description** · Application DBA support · Participate in application design meetings and approve the design documents. · Database design based on application requirement. · Database development (PL/SQL (procedures, functions and packages) according to the application requirement. · Writing new queries and modifying existing sqls with respect to application requirement. · Understanding of the application objects (tables, views, etc.,) and data in it to make necessary changes as requested by the development team. · Advising/helping development team in writing the queries. · Archiving data based on the business requirement. · Data refreshes from other systems. Refreshing the materialized views and managing them. · Reviewing the application queries before it goes to production and fine tune them. · Performance tuning of the database. · Co-ordinate with Production DBA for database changes. · Setting up new schemas for each release in development, QA and training environment. · Propose new solutions related to database for enhancements and to meet business requirements. · Capacity review and co-ordinate with PDBA/SA/Business to allocate more physical space if required · Implement user access and security for databases. · Implement and manage data encryption. · Reviewing the AWR and troubleshoot any performance issues in co-ordination with production DBA. · Apply DDL/DML changes to production during each release. · Making sure the applications are performing well after each release by reviewing the database performance. · Writing the UNIX scripts & PL/SQLS for batch jobs and data loads from other systems in Production.
