*Job Title :PHP Application Programmer Location : Pleasanton, CA Duration :6+ months contract Rate: Open C2C* The Client is looking for LOCAL CANDIDATES! Skills: PHP, MySQL, Apache, Zend PHP Server, SQL, JavaScript., Linux, Windows, Web 2.0, ecommerce environment Description: POSITION DESCRIPTION: This person needs to have strong PHP Development/Programming skills in an ecommerce environment. The PHP Application Programmer contract position focuses on the performance of Client's international web based solutions. The position also participates in technical and architectural-solution design and decision-making and recommends technical solutions to improve the overall performance. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: *Review and document PHP code for performance and architectural improvements. *Understanding and practical experience in performance tuning MySQL, Apache, Zend PHP Server. *Knowledge of E-commerce, web networking and open source applications using technologies such as PHP, SQL, JavaScript., Linux, Windows, MySQL. *Effectively and efficiently interacts with staff and third party vendor technical personnel. POSITION REQUIREMENTS: *Experience with web performance tuning and development using Web 2.0 concepts, technologies, techniques and standards across varying platforms and browsers. *Experience with technical documentation including ability to communicate repeatable processes for building, installing, configuring, and custom third party software applications.
