I WILL ALSO ACCEPT CANDIDATES CLOSE TO GC APPROVAL (WITHIN 6 MONTHS). * • Designs and develops complex solutions for the organization's core applications/interfacing systems utilizing knowledge of architectural roadmap/blueprint for application area • Provide technical support in creating / maintaining stable, predictable and effective WebSphere application components. • Ability to develop, maintain and enhance IBM WebSphere Components. • Adapt to Change Management, Quality Control, and Quality Assurance policies to ensure full compliance with Software Development Lifecycle process and standards. • Performs system/applications integrations • Has depth and breadth of experience in own job family; integrates knowledge of business and functional priorities • Applies in-depth skills and broad knowledge of the business to address complex problems and non-standard situations • Acts as a key contributor in a complex environment • May lead teams or projects; shares expertise Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems, etc. or equivalent IS experience. • Prior experience in a development and/or IT production support environment. • 4 + years experience in the WebSphere suite of products • 3 +years experience in Java, J2EE, or other integration services programming languages including object oriented programming • Team work – Must work with other IT teams (networking, database, engineering, service center, business partners, etc.) to ensure software delivery and support. • Development Lifecycle - Required following the established software development lifecycle and ensuring that all resources follow it as well.
