1.2.1. Developer (4 positions)
• Five to Seven (5 to 7) Years development experience with a working
knowledge of:
J2EE architecture; EJB, JMS, etc.
J2EE based enterprise applications using Oracle/BEA WebLogic
MVC architecture - Struts framework
Developing design artifacts such as Sequence and Activity diagrams
and flow charts
IBM Filenet Framework API for both Image manager and Content
manager
Quartz API
PL/SQL and store procedures
ADOBE product suite; Document Server, Central Pro, Web output pak,
output designer
Business Object XI; Designer and Enterprise
• Understanding of:
Application Architecture
Networking
Security components like SiteMinder, LDAP and Active Directory
Transition:
Participate in Deloitte Knowledge Transfer
For each KTrack module provided, pass the End-of-Module exam
Shadow Deloitte counterpart by skill in the completion of their
M&S activities
Serve as part of triage team should any production problems occur
Planning needed for all Technology moves for V3
Shadowing:
Provide M&S support to the V3 Application with Deloitte in
oversight mode
Developer-Specific Tasks
Fix application defects
Triaging the incidents that are reported by the Testing team and
courts and report them appropriately
Resolve the incidents that are reported as valid application
defects
Unit Test the changes
Run code review tool and make necessary changes to meet the JAVA
coding standards
Working with architectural team to provide complex solution
Perform a peer review on coding standards and provide them feed
back
Provide technical support to the support team on developing any DB
scrubs
DBA provides support across teams on various activities like
developing complex DB scrub, performance tuning, batch job support and
maintaining development and testing environment
Coordinate with Support for defect release prioritization for each
release
Coordinate with V4 to ensure all V3 changes are synchronized
Perform Release Management Activities for delivery of
patches/releases.
Work with release management to develop the technical release
notes for every code release
Deliver the code to the infrastructure to build the changes
into the server environment
Work closely with system integration team while they are testing
the delivered defects and answer their questions (if any)
In Addition to defect fixes Forms/Reports developer acts as a SME
on the Forms/reports design tools to support courts developers in
fixing/creating courts local forms and reports
Estimate Level of Effort on changes that are requested by clients
that are not addressed on the final functional deliverable
