The JEE Designer/Developer provides technical expertise in design and development of the application components. This technical resource is responsible for the design and development of components of a complex JEE application for a large web application hosted on a UNIX platform. This should include in-depth Microsoft .Net Microsoft .Net framework 2.0 3.5 and SQL Server experience. Desktop and server application development in a Microsoft Windows environment. C#, Windows Services, SQL, ADO.Net, Visual Studio 2008/2010. Understanding of distributed development and object-oriented programming techniques. Must possess strong problem solving skills, and have the ability to learn and apply new ideas quickly. Must possess good communication and analytical skills. Must have aggressive attitude and be eager to continue growing and learning. Must have some of the intangible leadership type qualities and desire. Ability to work independently but in a collaborative team environment with other programming resources. Support and troubleshooting skills. Ability to interface well with Professional Service staff and other non-technical members of the organization. * * *Additional items are a plus:* * * Knowledge of Retail Systems and processes.
