Job Title : IBM Mainframes Expert Relevant Experience (Yrs) : 6-8 Years of experience Necessary Skills : * Excellent communication skills and be able to work with different business users across the globe. * Must have worked on and have business understanding of the Order-To- Cash cycle. * Production support experience is desirable * Strong Expertise on following mainframe tools/technologies Ø COBOL Ø CICS (Strong knowledge required) Ø VSAM (Strong knowledge required) Ø IBM utilities Ø JCL Ø DYL280 (would be handy) * Need to have working experience on development/maintenance of a project using mainframes * Should be capable to debugging large Jobs/processes quickly to identify the root cause. * Quick turnaround to fix the Job failures. * Should have service oriented and customer focused job experience. * Experience with Call Management tools like Remedy. Desired Skills * Excellent technical skills using Mainframes, Including application maintenance, support and development. * Should be able to handle the situation independently. * Should have good debugging skills. * Should have good understanding of both online and batch processing. Should be able to easily identify Job failures. Roles & Responsibilities : * Application maintenance and support using Mainframes * Online and Batch Job Support * Provide Support including attend user calls to resolve their functional / process / operational/Technical issues * Coordination with the end user to update on ticket resolution * Identify recurring issues/alerts and conduct root cause analysis * Log calls details in Remedy/Service Management Tool.
