Here are 2 PM positions available. The job descriptions are below and the
Manager is looking to hire 12 resources off of the first job description and
4 resources off of the second job description. They both *must have 4+ years
of PM experience and 6+ years of IT experience*. The location is in Reston.
They are targeting January as a start and they are expected to be 3-6 month
contracts.



*Job Description #1:*



Project Manager II is responsible for supporting the Project Quality Office
initiative by executing assessments of complex Software Development
projects. Execute detailed analysis and testing of application development
projects, development processes and activities to facilitate adherence to
Fannie Mae policies and development standards (SDLC) and ensure delivery of
projects that meet project-specific and enterprise quality and risk
requirements. Apply understanding of the principles, concepts, practices and
standards in the area of project management and software development (SDLC)
standards, processes and controls.



Expert in managing application development projects using a disciplined
Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC). Practical experience applying
industry frameworks (CoBiT, CMMI, etc) is preferred.



Controls Execution and Project Management: Assist business unit project
teams in understanding IT controls, enterprise standards and industry
practices related to delivery of technology projects.



Conduct independent quality assessments for a broad range of complex
technology projects types with minimal supervision. Leverage deep expertise
to execute tests of project activities and deliverables to assess whether
the project is meeting established quality criteria. Document findings.



Conduct research for and respond to inquires from internal and external
points of contact (as related to project quality matters); advise management
on significant matters regarding technology project quality findings and
risk. Participate as a team member on projects at the highest level of
technical complexity.

Document project management and SDLC deficiencies; track status and
remediation; lead monitoring of remediation and subsequent testing. Begin to
consider how the project delivery processes and internal controls technology
environment of the organization can be improved; share recommendations with
the Quality Management Manager or Director.



* Job Description #2:*



Project Manager II is responsible for supporting the Project Quality Office
initiative by coaching teams executing complex Software Development projects
and developing SDLC and Project Management support materials for the SDLC
Program. Execute detailed analysis of application development projects and
processes to facilitate adherence to Fannie Mae policies and development
standards (SDLC) and ensure delivery of projects that meet project-specific
and enterprise quality and risk requirements. Collaborate with project teams
to teach general software development and project management practices and
Fannie Mae SDLC practices. Apply understanding of the principles, concepts,
practices and standards in the area of project management and software
development (SDLC) standards, processes and controls.



Expert in managing application development projects using a disciplined
Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC). Practical experience applying
industry frameworks (PMI, CMMI, etc) is preferred.

Develop SDLC and Project Management materials to support rollout and
adoption of our enterprise SDLC. Develop job aides, training materials and
other collateral to support project teams adoption of Fannie Mae's
enterprise SDLC.
