If you have any consultants comfortable with the below requirement please send their resumes to [email protected] *Project manager* *Rate:$50/hr on c2c* *Houston Texas Location. * *Duration: 6 months* Position Summary: · This position is responsible for overall coordination, status reporting and stability of complex cross-functional work efforts for low to high risk projects. · This individual will manage multiple projects simultaneously and will lead a variety of professionals, such as business analysts, requirements analysts, and/or programmers. Responsibilities: Contributes to: • Identification, monitoring, mentoring and evaluation of potential project managers • Interviewing prospective project team members in conjunction with the Program Manager/Director • Assessment of potential project viability, recommending strategies to satisfy customer needs • Initiation and funding efforts for new projects Assumes responsibility for: • Leadership of multiple projects or single projects classified from low to high risk • Managing and tracking all aspects of the delivery life cycle for the service offering, including original time estimates, cost, schedule, assessment of customer requirements and scope of the project • Foresight of organizational impacts and familiarity with procedures for introducing new technologies for the project • Establishing and managing priorities while maintaining a focus on customer needs and expectations • Creating and executing a detailed project plan including, but not limited to, assignments, dependencies, milestones, tracking, leveling and baselining • Manage the preparation, authorization, reporting and fulfillment of changes to the project • Identification of issues and risks, developing and implementing corrective actions • Managing dependencies and integrating activities with other departments and projects • Ensuring the development, planning and accomplishment of Quality Assurance testing • Maintaining effective communication with the customer, the Account Executive, Program Manager and impacted parties, as appropriate • Developing project resource strategies, allocating budget, staff, tools, and specialized support necessary for cost effective implementation and customer training • Management of the project team, including assignment and supervision of daily tasks, providing direction and establishing goals for project team members • Providing direction and establishing goals for project members • Identification and recommendation of training needs for project members • Evaluation of individual employee performance and project vendor performance • Preparing and delivering project-related presentations and briefings and conducting, planning and facilitating project meetings • Completion of all project reporting, including regular status reports, periodic special reports as needed, lessons learned, financial reconciliation and other close of project reports • Maintenance of project records, including electronic directory, hard-copy files and project notebook • Time-tracking and maintenance of the project database for analysis, statistics and hours reporting • Communicating, utilizing and enforcing adherence to T-Systems’ and customer expectations, standards and methodologies, including standards and procedures for project reporting, T-Systems’ internal processes and procedures and T-Systems’ methodologies • Maintaining accessibility, trust and the confidentiality of potentially sensitive information • Remaining proactive and responsive in fulfilling agreed-upon outcomes • Promoting a cooperative environment and working to build group cohesiveness • Building and maintaining positive working relationship with vendors and external/internal customers • Keeping current on internal and external professional development / trends within functional area and relating them to area of responsibility • Exemplifying T-Systems’ leadership values through personal professional conduct • Advocating project management discipline throughout T-Systems • Completion of all duties which would otherwise have been assigned to lower-level positions when those lower-level roles have not been assigned to the project or team Required skills/knowledge: • Leadership skills that can energize multidiscipline work teams • Sound understanding of project management principles and all aspects of Project Management • Conceptual knowledge of information technologies and methodologies in mainframe, midrange, and PC computing environments preferred; in depth capability in one or more • Technical knowledge with experience managing or participating in Infrastructure projects is required • Proven project management skills, capable of organizing, planning, and executing projects from vision through implementation, involving internal personnel, contractors, and vendors • Excellent verbal and writing skills, able to express complex technical concepts in business terms • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skills • Excellent resource management and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate and persuade at all management levels and the ability to thrive in a cross-functional environment is preferred • 5 years experience in applications and migrations from one to another platform • 5 years experience with CITRIX • 5 years experience in a customer facing role • Able to develop and maintain a Migration schedule for 200 CITRIX apps, with agreement from the customer application specialists and the DCAS scripting team. Experience/education: • Ten years of project responsibility, demonstrating leadership and management of technical staff and financial resources through various life cycle phases, including cross functional experience, is required • Ten years’ experience in the information technology or consulting industry is required, developing an in-depth knowledge in all infrastructure, mainframe, midrange or PC computing environments and methodologies • Eight years of management experience in which one or more of the following occurred is required: o Demonstrated strong abilities in relationship management o Successfully implemented new Infrastructure Environments, using new and emerging technologies o Demonstrated ability to manage multidiscipline, high performance work teams and development groups o Demonstrated competency in the execution of multiple, complex projects, including managing resources across multiple projects to meet goals o Developed efficient and effective solutions to diverse and complex business problems • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent work experience, is required (Master's degree or equivalent is preferred) • External project management certification such as PMP from PMI or other project management certification is required • Completion of T-Systems’ certification within 90 days of assuming the position is required • Sales oriented business savvy , He/She has closed large deals • Executive-level communication skills, Business English proficiency – essential • Experience working with Large Companies, specifically in the infrastructure area, and have IT Solution Expertise. • Global coordination will be required with direct reporting into the US and Germany. • The Project Manager needs to work from Houston Texas Locations.
