Position: PeopleSoft System Admin

Location: Dallas,TX

Duration: 6 months



  Over 5 years of PeopleSoft System Administration experience with extensive
knowledge on PeopleTools 8.5x, PeopleSoft HCM 8.8 (experience on PeopleSoft
HRMS 9.1 is a plus).

v  Project hands-on experience in PeopleSoft implementations and
Application/tools upgrades. (People tools 8.5x and HRMS9.x upgrade
experience is a plus).

v  Experience on PeopleSoft Portal, ELM and Self service applications.

v  Expertise in PeopleSoft Internet Architecture (PIA) -  installing,
configuring, maintaining PeopleSoft Application designer, Application
servers (Tuxedo), Process scheduler servers, web servers(WebLogic), file
servers

v  Experience in applying PeopleSoft patches, product patches, tax updates,
security updates, and performing database refreshes.

v  Experience on Change Assistant/Upgrade Assistant, Environment Management
and Change Impact Analyzer tools.

v  Experience in Application Messaging, Integration Broker and web services
setup and Administration

v  Experience in PeopleSoft Process scheduler

v  Experience on Oracle 10G, SQLPLUS and SQL tuning.

v  Specific knowledge of Workforce Administration, Payroll, Variable
Compensation, and Benefits

v  Administration Experience with PeopleSoft end-user configuration, query
tools, SQR, SQL Experience with OBIEE HR Analytics database and Answers
tool.

v  Experience installing server side and client SSL certificates.

v  Knowledge on implementing and supporting various systems that uses
PeopleSoft Integration broker, SOAP/XML and web service technologies

v  Experience with UNIX (Sun Solaris), UNIX shell Scripting using C and Korn
shell, Windows servers, Oracle, LDAP, and TCP/IP troubleshooting.

v  Knowledge and implementation experience with Single Sign On
implementations across various applications and PeopleSoft.

v  Ability to trouble shoot Production issues and transfer knowledge of
application to customers and co-workers

v  Play a key role in planning and implementation of patches and upgrades

v  Strong Organizational, communication and time management skills required



Experience:

v  Minimum 4 years of implementation or support of the PeopleSoft HRMS
application

v  PeopleSoft version 8.x/9.x experience

v  Strong analytical and technical aptitude

v  Demonstrable creative and innovative Problem solving skills

v  Knowledge on PeopleSoft reporting tools and technologies like PS QUERY,
XMLP reports, SQR, Crystal reports.

v  Experience on Performance tuning. Identify and fix performance
bottlenecks and tune the applications using traditional techniques and tools
like PeopleSoft Performance monitor, Oracle enterprise manager, Quest TOAD.

v  Experience in capacity planning and performance sizing of PeopleSoft and
HR applications.

v  Expertise in developing and implementing strategies for Enterprise
Security, Business continuity planning, Disaster recovery.

v  Knowledge on networking, firewalls, proxy servers, Load balancers.

v  Plan and manage individual time, establish personal timelines and commit
to deadlines.

v  Document work thoroughly for reproducibility of results and for team
members.

v  Interact and perform in a professional manner and manage multiple project
task assignments.

v  Adapt to proprietary technologies, workflow procedures and task/status
reporting.

v  Willing and able to provide on-call after hours support.
