We supply this comprehensive data to power automotive navigation systems, portable and wireless devices, Internet-based mapping/traffic applications and government and business solutions. Customers rely on NAVTEQ digital map information for use in their applications because of its accuracy, detail and completeness. * * *Position Summary:* The candidate will plan, design, and execute tests for integration of systems in varying states of maturity. The candidate will need to proactively work with members of other teams to gather requirements, understand technical details, and review systems test design for a complete implementation of systems integration testing. Projects may include integration of modules with different development methodologies including Agile and waterfall. *Responsibilities:* · Analyze software specifications and architecture to determine system integration points · Review system tests to provide integration testing gap & risk analysis · Design and execute tests to identify integration and end-to-end issues · Collaborate with engineers, system test teams, and business stakeholders on design of test scenarios · Coordinate testing with system test teams and integration of test environments · Deploy and configure test environment for integration testing · Provide weekly status reports to project manager describing accomplishments *Skills: * · Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field · 5+ years of experience in software testing · 3+ years of experience writing and executing SQL queries · 2+ years of experience testing integration of complex business solutions · 2+ years of experience testing systems SOAP or REST web services · 2+ years of experience of working with Unix or Linux Operating Systems · Experience gathering requirements, planning and designing tests, and executing manual test cases · Experience testing ETL, data conversion, or other projects without an explicit user interface · Experience with Waterfall and Agile software development methodologies · Excellent written and verbal communication skills · Strong analytical and problem solving skills · Ability to work independently, be creative, and resolve technical issues · Ability to work in a highly technical operating environment · Experience working with JBoss or Tomcat is a plus · Experience deploying Java applications or developing Java code is a plus · Experience with testing in a cloud computing environment is a plus · Experience leading or coordinating software test projects is a plus · Experience with automated test development is a plus · Experience with Exploratory testing is a plus ** * Please send the updated resume of the consultant along with the rate, location and contact information.
