Location: Jersey City Start Date: ASAP Desired Skills:- * Familiar with data modeling concepts (logical and physical data model). * Expertise in advanced PL/SQL techniques in a 9i or10g/11g environment. * Expertise in SQL tuning of large database environments. * Hands on experience on coding, troubleshooting and performance tuning PL/SQL and SQL using oracle and other performance measuring tools. * Demonstrated experience using Oracle collections, bulk collection techniques, partitioning to increase the performance. * Review SQL and PL/SQL codes. * Review current open issues and address them on priority basis. * Hands-on experience in using tools such as TOAD, SQL Developer and SQL*Loader. * Familiarity with shell scripting. * Knowledge of code repositories for maintaining code in various environments (DEV/SIT/UAT/PROD). * Managing multiple priorities and meet deadlines. * Strong knowledge and use of development, methodologies, standards and procedures. * Ability to provide technical expertise to junior team members and consult with other application developers to tune and performance test new and existing code base. * Good communication skills and is comfortable in dealing with the clients directly.
