Title : Manual Tester Location : Boston, MA Duration : 99 Months Responsibilities : • Understanding of software quality assurance and testing methodologies. • Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work closely with team members on projects. • Familiarity with test planning, test plan generation, test matrix definition, and test case specification/definition. • In depth knowledge of test script creation/execution, and defect tracking. • Conceptual knowledge of information technologies and methodologies. • Understanding/experience with both Oracle and Custom application testing. • Detail oriented with the ability to maintain a high level of quality. • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced dynamic environment. • Knowledge of automating test scripts is preferred. Under general direction, the ideal Business Analyst candidate will meet with business customers, gather business requirements, develop business documentation, test solution, and assist in implementation of business/technical solutions through application of the appropriate so information. This position is responsible for ongoing analysis of information, obtained from a variety of sources. It involves development and preparation of information products for members of the team. It requires the ability to analyze data from conceptualization through presentation of the data. It requires proficiency with analytical tools, knowledge of data analysis methodology, use of presentation software, strong communication skills and a strong commitment to and affinity for delivering the highest level of customer service. Should help to understand and collect data and analyze previous information in centralized repository. This person will help identify gaps. The Business Analyst will interact with business representatives to gain an understanding of the business environment and act as a liaison between business and technical solutions/support groups. The candidate will identify business requirements, the data field needed, business rules and formula’s use by that data field. The business analysts will trace every data field back to the original source and validate that the data source is the system of record. The business owner of that data field will validate that the data field represents the correct description and use of the field. The business processes connect with that data field will also be documented to enhance the understanding of how the data is used. The candidate will analyze business and user needs, and document specifications to meet those needs, conduct user testing to ensure proper functionality prior to implementation. The candidate will work very closely with the project team. 1. Develop and implement test plans for development cycles and system integrations 2. Write and execute test scenarios based on analysis of system enhancements 3. Create spreadsheets, calendars, and matrices to improve the testing process 4. Identify and regression test system bugs 5. Identify operational implications of enhancements 6. Provide support and training for Operations and Client Management Groups 7. Document testing procedures and methodologies 8. Report problems / errors in our client's system and recommend resolutions 9.
