Title : MS SQLServer BI Suite Architect Location : Augusta, ME Duration : 7 Months Description : The Senior Architect is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing highly-complex, reliable, and scalable application infrastructure solutions using MS SQL Server 2008r2 BI Suite to provide an enterprise level financial reporting solution. Complete Description : We have Senior Business Intelligence Architect/Developer contract position need to assist is defining, developing and implementing an enterprise financial data warehouse and business intelligence solution. The ideal candidate must be well versed in business intelligence best practices, relational database/dimensional modeling as well as posses advanced knowledge and practical development experience with MS 2008r2 Business Intellegence Suite (SSAS, SSRS, SSIS) Our Oracle data warehouse and MS SQL Server(SSRS,SSIS,SSAS and potentially SharePoint) BI solution will collect data from multiple State of Maine financial applications and offer a unified congruent presentation of enterprise financial data via Ad-Hoc reporting, OLAP multi-dimensional cubes, and Dashboards. Qualification in addition to specific skill sets noted below include: (R) -Functional understanding of government financial business processes. (R) - Experience in and willingness to perform in both consultative and active hands-on development capacities. (R) Self motivated, high performance contributor with a focus on quality, follow through and closure in a dynamic environment with a fixed project deadline. (R) Experience and willingness to mentor staff in BI best practices and implementation methodology. Experience: 5 years software development, testing, and project management Preferred Education: 4 year college degree in computer science or related field with advanced study preferred.
