Location: Jersey City, NJ This is a long term (1 year+) engagement to augment the team which does clearing and reconsiliation. This is a high throughput application- handling approx 30 M trades per day. The available role is for an application developer. The system provides Operations with capabilities to perform trade booking, clearing and reconciliation. The development position requires an individual who has good analytical skills and who is able to work with minimal supervision. A knowledge based in financial is a plus. There is a broad range of java based technologies in use within the department so the candidate will need a diverse skill set which should include a solid background in Core Java and J2EE technologies which include JSP, Spring, Hibernate.
