Thanks for your help!! *A few very important things to keep in mind specific to this opening: * *1) This can either be a 3 month contract role for a Sr. Resource or 3 month contract-to-hire for a Mid. level Resource (Either option is fine) * *2) Any candidate who is interested in the potential of going permanent must be a U.S. Citizen or Greencard holder, H1-B Visa okay for candidates interested in contract only. * *3) The main focus of this position revolves around the client's Customer Service Dept. so Communication Skills absolutely must be excellent. * *Position: SAP QM Functional Analyst* *Location: Chicago, IL area* *Target Rate: $Open/hr all-inclusive* *Duration: 3 month contract or 3 month contract-to-hire* *Job Description:* *SAP QM opening:* Need a Functional resource to come in and work alongside Business Analysts to do Functional Analysis for migration from Legacy system to SAP QM system. *Keys to the position:* 1. QM functional configuration skills and business process skills ( as is, to be & fit gap) 2. Quality notifications ( customer complaints) 3. Experience implementing/migrating legacy to SAP QM ( ECC 5.0) 4. ABAP skills are a plus - only need to be able to read and debug The IT Configuration/Systems Analyst will be responsible for designing and implementing business solutions to support Master data and Quality/Regulatory initiatives. The analyst will work closely with I/S Business analysts to perform functional analysis for designing solutions, evaluating options that include but are not limited to: new program development, configuration of existing systems, business process redesign, new package/system evaluation or a combination of these options. The analyst will work closely with other IS teams as needed on cross-functional Master data and Quality/Regulatory processes. *Responsibilities:* · Support I/S Master Data Quality Business Analysts with design, development and solution management. · Work with team members to analyze, recommend, plan, design, develop, and/or implement solutions to meet strategic, usability, performance, reliability, control, and security requirements. · Lead initiatives and participate in projects to coordinate efforts of Subject Matter Experts, Development, Quality Assurance, Training, Transport Management, and other internal resources for the successful implementation of system enhancements and fixes. · Act as liaison between I/S Business Analyst and technical architects/developers to effectively communicate business requirements into high quality business solutions. · Team with I/S Business Analysts to encourage business process improvements, to identify data integrity issues, and to implement proactive solutions. · Create and communicate solution proposals, business system designs (BSD) that meet the business needs and adhere to departmental documentation standards. · Work with technical architects/developers to develop designs and validate that the software solution will satisfy the business needs. · Make software configuration changes to support business processes. · Work with Quality Assurance team to conduct functional testing of implemented applications, and provide the initial support of these applications when moved to production. · Create and deliver user documentation as necessary to ensure proper use of changed and newly implemented efforts. · Provide around the clock support as needed – including, but not limited to, participating in the on–call rotation. · Work with IS and Business community to build consensus on designs and ensure change management procedures are effectively followed. · Support Business processes and functions related to Master Data (Products, Customers, and Vendors) and Quality/Regulatory. · Assist Manager in status reporting.
