Req Title: Senior level OBIEE Architect/Developer. Loc: Raleigh NC, Rate open and need only EAD, or GC. OPT EAD is also accepted. Job Description: Client that has a need for a Senior level OBIEE Architect/Developer to join to assist with the development of several key initiatives for their Data Factory. The client has moved from Cognos reporting tools to the Oracle OBIEE and Tibco Spotfire reporting systems. Switching to OBIEE will allow the Data Factory to streamline the data and have all the data and metadata sit on the same platform. This change will create a more uniform factory and allow data to transport quicker. They presently lack the resources in OBIEE architecture and need to add a resource. The OBIEE Specialist / BI ARCHITECT position is a technical, hands-on role. The candidates will UNDERTAKE THE ANALYSIS AND DESIGN as THE ARCHITECT for OBIEE initiatives within the BI Group of the Data Factory. The two main programs that the candidate will be working on are called Infosario, which deals with the data management of the clinical information and the Siebel CTMS implementation. The ideal candidate will have experience in ARCHITECTING, designing AND developing OBIEE reporting solutions at an Enterprise-level, providing technical guidance to other resources, and have experienced in a variety of software development concepts and practices IN AN ORACLE BI ENVIRONMENT Additional Job Info: Top 3 Skills (stack ranked) : 1.) 7+ yrs OBIEE Experience 2.) 7+yrs with Oracle ( preferred 10g or 11g) 3.) 5+ yrs of Data Warehousing experience PLUSES: An understanding of conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling; OBIEE RPD MODELING & BEST PRACTICES, Being able to perform high level initial analysis and design choices for BI solution including user interface design.
