Job Title : Lead Test Engineer Responsibilities: . Work with the Manager to achieve the overall goals and vision of the client . . Lead team by defining the responsibilities needed to meet the goals and objectives defined to support Shared Health. . Manage scheduling and staffing to support Quality objectives. . Lead and manage day to day functions of staff. . Develop and provide annual education plan and tactical guidance for staff. . Ensure policies and procedures are followed to insure Shared Health is compliant with HIPAA and other privacy / security requirements. . Adhere to all relevant Testing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). . Coordinate and conduct Disaster Recovery testing per SOP. . Coordinate and conduct Performance testing per SOP. . Develop and conduct all levels of testing for software, hardware, networks, systems, and services. . Coordinate testing best practices across IT. . Coordinate and perform IT Systems Quality Audits specific to testing activities across the organization. . Coordinate and maintain all testing product solution(s) instances. . Select, implement and champion an automated testing tool across IT. . Supervise other Testing Engineers on a daily basis providing direction and training as required. . Contribute knowledge base content on relevant quality topics, testing trends and best practice, testing methodology, test case development and data validation/usage. . Provide subject matter expertise on areas that are critical to testing for development and technical staff. . Provide augmentation to Quality Management Team for Defect Resolution tasks and activities. . Provide augmentation to Operations Training Coordinator as trainers. . Maintain Testing SOPs . Coordinate the IT Training and Certification process and maintain the TRAIN Product Solution Instance for use as a training vehicle for both internal and external audiences. Required Skills . 4 years of Quality Management and Quality Assurance experience . Experience with Business Process Management (BPM), or ITSM, environments. . Strong familiarity of IT industry standards (i.e., ITIL, COBIT, IEEE, etc.). . Experience with industry leading automated testing tool such as HP/Mercury Interactive's WinRunner product . Top candidates with have experience with MS Test Manager, MS Visual Studio and Team Foundation Server Skills/Certifications . Strong attention to detail .
